MCP server for contract renewals
The Procurement Manager has an MCP endpoint over Streamable HTTP with JSON-RPC. It supports initialize, tools/list and tools/call. All tools are read only. Confirming a notice date or approving a decision always happens in the web app. MCP access is included in the Growth plan.
Set up
- Sign up or log in and start the Growth plan for your workspace.
- Open Agent Setup in the app and select Generate token. The token is shown once. Only its hash is stored.
- Add the server to your MCP client with the token in an Authorization header.
Claude Code:
claude mcp add --transport http procurement-manager https://theprocurementmanager.com/api/mcp \ --header "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_TOKEN"
Claude Desktop and Cursor accept the same URL and header in their MCP server settings. Connectors that only support OAuth cannot connect.
Tools
list_upcoming_renewal_decisionsAgreements with a notice deadline inside a window of days, with the latest review state.
get_renewal_decision_packetOne review with the agreement, dates, reviewer answers and evidence links.
get_contract_notice_datesRenewal date, notice deadline and verification status for one agreement.
list_unverified_notice_datesAgreements whose notice deadline no person has confirmed yet.
get_missing_reviewer_decisionsReviewers who have not answered a review.
draft_reviewer_remindersReminder text for those reviewers. Nothing is sent.
Access and security
Each token belongs to one workspace and can only read that workspace. You can revoke a token in Agent Setup at any time. Calls without a valid token return HTTP 401.
Test with curl
curl -s https://theprocurementmanager.com/api/mcp \
